You will be supporting the R&D function of the business developing novel biosensor technologies to support in the field of diagnostics.

The client are a leading specialist in electrochemical biosensor technologies undergoing expansion.

Description

As a senior level scientist you would be:

  • Support the R&D function using your experience in electrochemitry as it applies to biosensors and / or diagnostics
  • Design, optimise and execute a range of tests to support with development of elctrochemical biosensor platforms
  • Develop a range of test methods and assays to deliver robust and reproducible electrochemcial measurements, relevant to Point of Care and other applications
  • Create and maintain lab records and all associated quality documentation, maintaining integrity and adherence to GLP
  • Work collaboratively in project teams, supporting R&D efforts to drive products through the development phases

Profile

To be successfully you will have:

  • PhD (ideally) in electrochemistry or related field
  • Hands-on experience in development of biosensors and/or medical diagnostics
  • Strong knowledge of electrochemistry and associated techniques
