Responsibilities of a Principal Ecologist;
- Lead projects, manage budgets, attend client meetings, and oversee bid production.
- Mentor and manage a team, ensuring technical quality in deliverables.
- Conduct and supervise ecological surveys, including EcIA, HRA, PEAs, and biodiversity strategies.
Requirements for the role of a Principal Ecologist;
- Proven leadership in managing teams and projects, with experience in client relations and bid production.
- Expertise in EcIA, HRA, biodiversity assessments, and related legislation.
- Licenses for protected species (GCN, bats) and extensive field survey experience.
