Our client, a leader in Nuclear Generation require a Materials Analyst to join their team on site at Torness. Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a knack for managing inventory and procurement? Join our client as a Materials Analyst/Controller and take on a pivotal role in ensuring the plant operates at peak efficiency.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and stay organized under pressure

Role information:

  • Oversee purchasing of stock items and manage repairable services.
  • Lead the stock replenishment process, from RFQ to delivery.
  • Serve as the primary contact for materials replenishment on-site.
  • Facilitate the materials plan through proactive communication with internal teams.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials while keeping stock levels optimized.
  • Adapt to operational priorities and manage workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Control stock value to align with company objectives.
  • Analyse fleet stockholding to refine stocking and procurement strategies.
