Our Partner School, located in the peaceful town of Woodeaton 10 minutes from Headington Town on the outskirts of Oxfordshire, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. The school is renowned for its inclusive approach, providing support for students with a wide range of special educational needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students facing challenges such as:

  • Attachment Difficulty
  • Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including Asperger's Syndrome
  • Dyspraxia
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Specific Learning Difficulties, including Dyslexia
  • Speech and Language Disorders
  • Tourette's Syndrome

As a Teaching Assistant at our partner School, the successful candidate will work closely with both students and the teaching team to provide support tailored to each student's individual needs. They will assist in the classroom, help with learning and behavioural support, and ensure that students are able to participate fully in school activities.

Our Teaching Assistanty should be patient, empathetic, and able to adapt to a range of educational and emotional needs. The role requires an individual who is flexible and resilient, with a strong commitment to supporting children with special educational needs.

Essential Requirements:

  • Willingness to apply for a DBS check.
  • Passion for working with children with diverse needs and the ability to foster an inclusive learning environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
