This role, joining an independent company with an impressive client base, offers excellent career opportunities, and the chance to travel the world!!! This is a unique opportunity for somebody with experience of working with production machinery, to learn about Health & Safety at work. The company provides advice and support to a variety of industries, to ensure their workforce are safe and protected. As an assessor, you will be visiting sites to test and inspect their production machinery, to make sure its safe and compliant

Once trained, the role of Safety Assessor includes:-

  • TRAVEL - in this role you will probably be working away from home every other week, fully expensed
  • PUWER - Visiting high-end clients to assess their manufacturing or production sites to ensure they comply with Health & Safety regulations
  • Working on site with known UK brands, to assess their H&S standards, to provide reports on recommended actions for non-compliance
  • Working with site staff to educate, inform and advise
  • Identify non-conformance to UK, European and International standards
  • (training on specific regulations etc will be available, but basic knowledge is essential to start)

To be considered for the role of Safety Assessor, you should have:-

  • Knowledge of Risk Assessments or machinery installations or machinery regulations etc
  • An interest in learning and studying towards IOSH qualifications
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background would also be an advantage
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Willingness to travel, learn and develop your skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with face to face professionalism
