Maintenance Engineer

Pay: £53,200 pa (including shift allowance)
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x standard rate
Shift Pattern: 12hr Shifts (Rotating Days & Nights - Panama Shift Pattern)

What you’ll be doing in this Maintenance Engineer role:

  • Diagnosing & repairing electrical & mechanical faults
  • Responding to breakdowns & ensuring production runs smoothly
  • Maintaining high-speed production, process and packaging machinery
  • Working with 24v and 3-Phase Electrical Systems, and control panels
  • Service & troubleshoot on pumps, motors, gearboxes, valves and other components
  • Planned preventative maintenance on machinery
  • PLC fault finding (checking Inputs & Outputs)
  • Reading & interpreting electrical and mechanical diagrams

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong electrical & mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Electrical qualifications (apprenticeship, C&G, HNC, or equivalent)
  • Maintenance Engineer experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a proactive, safety-conscious team
