About the RoleAs an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the school’s IT systems. You will work closely with the IT Manager and staff to ensure a seamless IT service across the school.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing first-line support to staff and students, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Maintaining and managing the school’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and peripheral devices.
- Setting up and configuring devices such as PCs, laptops, tablets, and interactive whiteboards.
- Assisting with the management of cloud services and school software platforms, such as Office 365 and MIS systems.
- Ensuring data security and supporting the implementation of GDPR compliance measures.
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Supporting IT-related projects, including hardware upgrades and system installations.
- Delivering training or guidance to staff and students on effective use of technology.

We are looking for an IT Technician who:
- Has a strong technical background with experience in IT support, preferably in an educational setting.
- Is proficient in troubleshooting Windows and MacOS systems, networks, and cloud platforms.
- Has knowledge of hardware maintenance, networking protocols, and data security practices.
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Has strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
