My clients are looking for a Buyer/Purchasing Coordinator to join their team! As a Buyer, you’ll be making sure they get the right products at the best prices while keeping quality high and deliveries on track. As a Buyer/Purchasing Coordinator it’s all about maintaining a smooth and reliable supply of essential goods to keep everything running efficiently.

Buyer Responsibilities

  • Purchase the right products, at the right time and price, from the right suppliers
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and reliable service
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and increase settlement discounts year-on-year
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Service to support excellent customer experience
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse to avoid overstock and reduce waste
  • Maintain accurate systems data (lead times, forecasts, pricing, supplier/product info)
  • Use tech and analytics to drive efficiency and support business reporting
  • Own stock purchasing decisions and correct any errors (e.g. return of excess stock)

Skills & Experience

  • A-Levels (minimum); Purchasing/Supply Chain qualification preferred
  • Proven experience in a purchasing role
  • Proficient with procurement software and data analysis
  • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
