Learning Mentor - Supporting Students in Their Journey
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Learning Mentor to join a school in Hailsham. In this role, you will support students who face emotional, social, or behavioural challenges, helping them build resilience and achieve their full potential in a positive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioural challenges.
- Help students develop strategies to manage their emotions, improve behaviour, and engage with their learning.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to create tailored support plans for individual students.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported.
What We're Looking For
- Compassionate and patient individuals who are dedicated to supporting students' well-being and personal development.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience working with children or young people facing emotional or behavioural challenges is desirable, but a positive attitude and a passion for helping others is key.
