Semi-Senior Accountant Halesowen £25,000 - £35,000 + Study Support
Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established West-Midlands based accounting firm that are now eager to recruit a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their team. They are seeking a talented and motivated individual who can collaborate effectively with clients and work well within a team to deliver exceptional results.As an Semi-Senior Accountant you will play a key role in supporting our clients, primarily owner-managed businesses, across a range of financial tasks.Role Requirements -
- Preparing accounts and financial statements in accordance with FRS102(a) and FRS105
- Processing client records efficiently and accurately
- Producing management accounts
- Completing and reviewing VAT returns
- Handling basic client queries and general administrative duties
Person Requirements -
- AAT Qualified or currently studying ACCA
- At least 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice
- Accurate, detail-focused, and highly organised
- Skilled in IT, with knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH being a plus
- Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines under pressure
- A strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a great team player
