Document Controller Wanted for Global Engineering Firm in HalesowenWe are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Document Controller to join our client's team at their Engineering HQ located near the bustling town of Halesowen.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with some of the industry's best minds, on exciting projects that shape both local and international communities.Document Controller Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation control across all aspects of project delivery within this dynamic organisation.

You should have experience working with large scale EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) contracts or Engineering Projects (within an Engineering / Civil / Engineering & Manufacturing background) from initial bid through close-out phases as well as having knowledge/experience related specifically to Documentation Control.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Ensuring compliance with company policies & procedures- Managing technical documents such as drawings, specifications etc.- Controlling revision history records- Overseeing quality assurance checks before release or issuance Qualifications/ Skills required for Document Controller Role:To apply you must possess the following qualifications/skills;

  • Relevant Degree, Diploma or equivalent professional training and/or experience relevant towards documenting management activities;
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal/written; ability speak confidently/persuasively when dealing stakeholders including internal departments /clients/vendors etc ;
  • Ability multi-task/projects while under pressure/time constraints - prioritising tasks based urgency/importance levels accordingly without affecting overall outcomes/project objectives ;
  • Proficient use Microsoft Office software like Excel, Word PowerPoint etc,
  • Strong analytical mindset combined attention detail,
  • Knowledgeable about enterprise-wide data governance practices/methodologies/tools/systems used globally
