Overview:

A great opportunity has become available working as an Accounts Payable Clerk for a Hospitality equipment Manufacturer based within the outer Birmingham area. This role would require a tenacious team player who has some experience working within an Accounts payable function and possesses a fine attention to detail. The vacancy requires an immediately available candidate who is keen to join an ambitious, growing company on an interim basis with the exciting prospect of this becoming permanent.

The roles main duties involve the coding and processing of invoices, completing balance sheet and statement reconciliations as well as maintaining accurate control accounts. A successful candidate will need to be a keen problem solver with strong competency in communicating and a strong capability of meeting deadlines.

Skills Required:

  • Experience within the Accounts payable function is preferable as you will need a strong background in problem solving and reconciling account balances.
  • Strong understanding and proficiency with Microsoft office programmes and other financial software's is required.
  • Excellent communication skills are needed in order to effectively liaise with members of the wider finance department as well as effectively building rapport with clients.
  • A fine attention to detail is required within the role to ensure a consistent high quality and accuracy of work.
