A new position has become available for an ambitious, and career focussed Fee Earning Conveyancer. The successful candidate will be a highly organised and analytical individual with a strong attention to detail and have extensive experience within th8is position.

Key responsibilities:  

  • To be able to produce documents and deal with correspondence.  
  • To be confident giving instructions to our support staff verbally, and via digital dictation.  
  • Communicating with clients to give and gather information to progress their case via email, letter, telephone and in person.  
  • Opening and closing files in accordance with the firm’s stated procedures.  
  • Managing a full and varied Residential Conveyancing case load to include a mixture of sales/purchases/re-mortgages/technical Residential Conveyancing matters.  
  • Undertaking fee earning work, working both independently, and as a member of the wider team.  
  • Liaising directly with clients, estate agents and lenders.  
  • Develop new relationships with third party referrers or repeat referrers.  
  • Dealing with financial issues such as costing files, ensuring payments on account are made, credit control measures are followed, and incoming and outgoing payments are recorded properly on the firm’s accounts package.  
  • Generating a fee income in line with agreed targets. 

Person Specifications:  

  • 12-months minimum Fee Earning experience in the field of residential conveyancing.  
  • Have the ability and confidence to run the full conveyancing process.  
  • Be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and technical expertise in dealing with a mixed residential property conveyancing caseload, with minimum supervision.  
  • Excellent computer literacy; good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of packages including Word and Excel.  
  • Good communication skills.  
  • Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.  
  • Problem solving, a positive and friendly team player, and a ‘can do’ attitude, particularly in relation to digital ways of working.  
  • Our successful candidate will be a very personable, energetic, and confident individual who has excellent administration and organisation skills.  
  • Clean full UK driving licence is desirable.
