Are you an experienced payroll professional ready for your next big challenge? We're recruiting for a Payroll Manager - System implementation, where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming our payroll systems across multiple sites. As the business consolidate from multiple payroll systems, you'll be at the forefront of implementing a single, streamlined system, supporting the business to stay compliant with upcoming payroll regulations.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, including the Financial Controller and Group Finance Director, on a business-critical project that will directly impact the future of payroll operations. You'll also manage the end-to-end payroll process for several legal entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance with HMRC, and timely reporting.

The office is based in Halesowen, but you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home two days a week. Occasional travel to other sites will provide hands-on experience and variety in your day-to-day work.

Key duties include:

  • Run payroll, ensuring integrity and accuracy of posted payroll journals for both weekly and monthly payrolls.
  • Take ownership of all HMRC-related payroll reporting (RTI uploads, P11D submissions, PSA calculations).
  • Process pension provider uploads and manage related data.
  • Manage payroll data for internal and external audits, as well as third-party reviews.
  • Stay up to date with payroll legislation, ensuring ongoing compliance with HMRC and NMW regulations.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of the implementation of a new payroll system across multiple sites.
