The role involves preventive and reactive maintenance of hydraulic press systems and supporting engineering across the site.
Candidates should have a Level 3 NVQ/BTEC qualification and proven experience in hydraulic press operation.
The position requires a strong engineering background and offers a salary of £35,000 per year.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, with Fridays off.

Evolve Personnel are currently recruiting for aMechanical Fitterfor our client in the Halesowen area.

As aMechanical Fitter, you will be an integral part of the Maintenance Team, providing essential support to ensure the smooth operation of hydraulic press systems and other on-site machinery.

Responsibilities/Duties

Preventive and reactive maintenance of hydraulic press systems
Promptly responding to breakdowns to minimize downtime
Supporting engineering and maintenance across the site
Servicing and monitoring hydraulic systems
Implementing improvement projects to enhance press reliability
Assisting in training and supporting apprentices

Skills / Experience

Analytical and logical reasoning skills
A Level 3 NVQ/BTEC qualification (or equivalent)
A strong engineering background, particularly in heavy plant equipment
Proven experience in hydraulic press operation
Flexibility and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks

Hours:Monday to Thursday 6:00am - 4:00pm (Fridays off)
