Transport Supervisor

Paying up to £30,000 per year, depending on experience.

Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm.

Based in Birmingham (B62).

We are working with a leading Transport and Logistics organisation who are eager to recruit an experienced Transport Supervisor to join their team.

The successful candidate will be CPC Qualified and Health & Safety trained.

Duties of the Transport Supervisor will include:

  • Overseeing daily transport operations, such as planning, scheduling and routing.
  • Managing the fleet and ensuring all legal, H&S and operational regulations are adhered to.
  • Acting as a source of escalation for general transport matters.
  • Ensuring vehicles are in good condition and managing the repair and defect schedules.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure the growth of the organisation.
  • Implementing new processes to improve company efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance company wide.

The ideal candidate will have a background in either Air, Sea or European operations, with proven leadership experience.
