Our client, a well-established chemical manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to join their team.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of recent experience in Facilities Maintenance or as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
This permanent position offers a salary between £35,000 and £38,000, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30.
The role involves troubleshooting mechanical faults, supporting apprentices, and occasionally traveling to other sites in the West Midlands.
Candidates should possess strong mechanical skills, a good level of Excel, and a full UK driving licence.

Working in a manufacturing environment covering all aspects of facilities maintenance.
Troubleshoot/Diagnose faults Mechanically on a wide variety of equipment using drawings/schematics/PC
Work under pressure with the ability to prioritize workloads.
Undertake work as listed in the job description.
Support and assist apprentices, acting as mentor and teacher as and when required.
Communicate clearly with internal and external customers.
Travel to other sites occasionally in the West Midlands to provide facilities support.

Facilities Engineer – MechanicalEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

At least 3 years recent experience of working within Facilities Maintenance or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Good level of Excel, with a thorough knowledge of Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Must have a strong work ethic and be reliable
Full UK Driving Licence
