Job Title: Service Engineer

Location: Midlands - Field Based

Key Responsibilities:

As the Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing crushing and screening equipment at customer sites, diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting routine inspections, and providing technical support and training to customers.

Acting as the primary contact for customers, you will address technical questions, maintain communication, and manage warranty claims. This role involves coordinating with internal teams and suppliers for timely parts delivery, generating service reports, and ensuring adherence to EHS standards and regulations.

Who We Are Looking For:

You will ideally hold qualifications within Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) and have experience in Mechanical Maintenance within the Quarry/Plant Hire industry.

Additionally, you will have excellent technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. An engaging communicator, with interpersonal skills to interact with customers and teams is crucial.

Proficiency in reading technical drawings and experience in equipment installation, maintenance, and repair are essential however support will be available from the wider team.

Knowledge of warranty processes would be highly advantageous along with the ability to work independently whilst managing your time effectively, along with flexibility to travel within the role, and be able to adhere to EHS standards and regulations.
