Flourish Education are recruiting for a Year 3 Teacher for a part-time position in a ‘Good’ rated, 3-form entry Primary School in Halesowen. This school values learning, caring and aiming high – in collaboration together.

Our client is seeking a Year 3 Teacher to work on a part-time basis, working 1 full-day and 2 half-days, beginning in November continuing until December and is potentially ongoing. The planning is already in place for this position, and the ideal candidate would be required to deliver and mark pre-planned lessons.

This position would be ideal for an ECT looking to obtain more experience or an experienced teacher who is looking for a better work-life balance.

The Responsibilities of this Year 3 Teacher Role:

  • Full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, teaching, and marking
  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Foster a positive learning environment with excellent behaviour management
  • Assess and track pupil progress, reporting to leadership and parents
  • Work collaboratively with other primary teachers and support staff

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Proven ability in maintaining excellent behaviour management
  • Previous experience as a Primary Teacher or Class Teacher
  • Enthusiasm for working in a primary school environment
