Are you waiting for dead mans shoes?
Rubbish data, no direction, poor whole business delivery or a heavy focus on the ones and twos.
What if you had a blank slate?
No garbage data, fresh challenge, new market, start-up environment,
How would you do it?
This is a chance to join something new and exciting. This means that some things will be a little bit fluid but youll be working alongside the managing director to develop, sell and deliver niche IT services focusing on the legal and finance sectors.
Im sure there are easier roles but with risk comes reward and here we can demonstrate a track record in progression from similar positions through to directorship.
What youll be doing:
Selling high value, low volume solutions youll be researching and developing sales outreach, marketing collateral, calling, emailing and networking with a variety of decision makers in the legal and finance world.
To do this youll be exploring opportunities with new and existing accounts, attending networking and industry events, meeting decision makers and working in tandem with the technical managing director to design multi-million-pound solutions, highlighting efficiencies, showing cost savings and getting the sale over the line through consistently communicating with your customers
What youll need:
Well firstly, you wont need a technical background as much of the technical do will be handled by the MD, this isnt a presales role and the MD will be hands on in both winning business and designing solutions. You wont really even need a background in IT or technical solutions, if say youve sold software solutions or something tech adjacent that that will help.
What you will need though, is a track record of sales delivery, including:
Solutions sales
Cold calling
Market mapping
In person networking
Building a pipeline of opportunities
Lead generation and qualification
Bonus points for any experience in
Obviously if you will be looking at growing into the legal or financial sectors, any background in selling into these industry niches would help in understand their pain points or understanding your ideal client profile. Similarly, selling software, managed services, telephony, print, cyber or other IT services including licenses or seats or working towards monthly or annually recurring revenue targets would be a benefit
