Hayley Group Limited has an exciting vacancy for a highly motivated Supply Chain Analyst to join our well-established and experienced Group Purchasing team based at our head-office in Halesowen. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

About the role:

Job purpose: To ensure the effective planning, analysis, and management of inventory, using Infor CSDE (M3), ERP system. The role focuses on maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimising costs, and ensuring timely availability of materials to meet customer demands.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities as Supply Chain Analyst will include:

Inventory Planning and Management

Develop and execute inventory plans to maintain optimal stock levels.

Monitor inventory levels and generate forecasts to predict future needs.

Implement strategies to reduce excess and obsolete inventory.

Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

Analyse MRP outputs to ensure stock availability aligns with demand.

Adjust MRP parameters to reflect changes in demand, lead times, and production capacities.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Conduct regular analysis of inventory data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

Generate and present inventory reports to management, including key metrics such as turnover rates, stockouts, and days of supply.

In partnership with the Group BI & Report Analyst, develop and maintain dashboards for real-time inventory tracking and decision-making.

Undertake inventory modelling, to test and predict outcomes from changes to system parameters and stocking policies.

Process Improvement

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain operations.

Ensure compliance with inventory management best practices and company policies.

System Maintenance and Support

Maintain and update Infor CSDE (M3) system settings related to inventory and MRP.

Provide training and support to other users of the Infor CSDE (M3) system.

Work with ERP support teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

Performance Metrics:

Inventory turnover rate.

Reduction in excess and obsolete inventory.

Accuracy of inventory forecasts and MRP outputs.

Adherence to inventory levels and safety stock policies.

Timeliness and accuracy of inventory reports.

Key Skills & attributes we're looking for in our Supply Chain Analyst will include:

Technical proficiency; strong knowledge and experience with an integrated ERP, MRP.

Analytical skills: ability to analyse complex data sets and translate findings into actionable plans.

Attention to detail; high level of accuracy in managing inventory data and executing MRP processes.

Problem-solving; strong ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement them effectively.

Communication skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and training purposes.

Organisational skills; effective at managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field desirable.

Certifications: APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain management, or a similar role.

Hands-on experience with Infor CSDE (M3) desirable.

Ideally experience of dealing with multiple stock locations and/or a branch network within a distribution environment
