Transport Planner

Paying £25,000 per year.

Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 6:30pm.

Based in Birmingham (B62).

Due to ongoing growth, our client, a leading Transport and Logistics organisation, are seeking a Transport Planner to join their busy transport team.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous experience in Transport Planning and Operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Transport Planner will include:

  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and partners via various channels, such as emails and over the phone.
  • Generating export paperwork for drivers.
  • Quoting and taking bookings over the phone or through email.
  • Preparing paperwork for drivers.
  • Raising job files, costing and invoicing.
  • Liaising with drivers to ensure the delivery of service.
  • General administration duties such as scanning, filing, using Microsoft Office.

We are seeking a candidate with a proven background in UK Transport Operations, European experience is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will be a team player and be able to work as a key member of a busy transport environment.
