Health and Social Care Lecturer

We are currently seeking an experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer to join a college in Halesowen. This temporary position is available immediately and will continue until at least Christmas. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching levels 1 to 3 NCFE from Monday to Friday.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lectures in Health and Social Care for levels 1 to 3 NCFE.
  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that meet curriculum standards.
  • Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Offer pastoral support to students, guiding them through their academic and personal development.
  • Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and overall progress.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance teaching methods and learning experiences.
  • Ensure compliance with college policies and industry regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in a related Health and Social Care (HSC) subject.
  • Proven teaching experience, specifically with NCFE courses.
  • Experience in providing pastoral support to students.
  • Minimum Level 2 qualification in Maths and English.
  • Possession of a DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
