Coded Welder Industrial Boiler Repair

This role primarily involves carrying out repairs on industrial steam boilers at customer sites across the UK. The position may require occasional travel to meet customer needs.

The welding work will mainly involve carbon steel MMA using low hydrogen electrodes.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Retubing of boilers
  • Performing D-patch repairs, including cutting out
  • Replacing tube plates
  • Coded welding of pipework and vessels

Additional duties will include:

  • Being punctual, good time-keeping and completing work to ensure a good quality of standard.
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed safely and accurately, in compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and guidelines
  • Adhering to established procedures, including manufacturer IOM's, while maintaining high work standards
  • Completing all required paperwork and system records accurately and on time
  • Contributing to the development of team members by sharing knowledge and expertise
