About the Role

The successful candidate will play a vital role within the firm's tax team, providing expert advice and assistance to clients. This is a highly progressive role with a clear career path. Initially, you will start as an Assistant Manager, Assistant Manager, with the potential to progress beyond this within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored solutions to complex technical tax issues.
  • Support business development and cross-selling of services.
  • Build strong client relationships and provide strategic tax advice.
  • Manage tax consultancy assignments, acting as the primary contact for queries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal risk management processes.
  • Oversee billing and effectively manage work in progress.

Person Specification

  • CTA qualification (ideally 3 years post qual experience) or equivalent experience in tax.
  • Strong understanding of OMB tax issues, including income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
  • Ability to assess multiple solutions with clear and quick thinking.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to tailor advice to individual needs.
