Community Mental Health Service Manager-聽聽Suffolk聽

Salary - 拢35,000 DOE

Hours of work - Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

ARC Group are working with a well established support service recruiting for a聽Community Mental Health Service Manager covering the Suffolk area. The candidate will be supporting the Head of Services in arranging and attending professional meetings to introduce their services to other organisations in Suffolk. You will be required to travel all over Suffolk, organise and set up meetings with clients and build relationships in order to grow the business.聽

Our Client is a support service for people experiencing mental health issues, learning disabilities and Autism. Our client are extremly passionate about what they do and are committed to helping individuals experiencing mental health issues live a fulfilling life as much as possible.

Once the service grows more established in the area and continues to grow, the role will then also incorporate manging a team of staff. This will include holding supervisions, team meetings, answering staff calls, creating platforms for staff to communicate and meet, liaising with other professionals and stakeholders, etc.

People skills and strong communication skills will be necessary for this role as well as great organisational and time-keeping skills. The successful Care Manager will be expected to be creative and innovative; thinking on their feet and proactive in coming up with ideas rather than being reactive.

Skills in creating work spaces that are inspiring and friendly to work in are highly desired

The Team Manager will be expected to set reasonable goals for themselves and meet deadlines where necessary.

The ideal candidate will need to know current legislation, legal practices and best practice standards and protocols and communicate these appropriately in order to lay a good foundation for service and a strong service team.

Experience required:

路 Recent experience working in a similar role is essential 聽

路Experience of the social care industry is essential

路Experience of working with people with mental health problems will be greatly advantageous

路 Experience of working with people with mental health problems or learning disabilities is desirable but may not be essential.

路 Experience of CQC registration will be an added advantage.

路 Good Literacy skills

路 Excellent communication and leadership skills

路 Organizational and time-management skills

路 Experience with planning workloads and delegating tasks

路Full UK Driving Licence

*Please note- Due to the nature of this role, there will be a lot of travel and networking involved, use of own car will be a necessary requirement.
