Hales Group is seeking a part time Human Resources Advisor to join our well-established client’s team based in Halesworth.  Key responsibilities of the Human Resources Advisor;
  • Provide end to end Human Resources support and advice across the business, including employee relations, absence management, recruitment, performance management, employment law, disciplinaries and day to day activities.
  • Act as first point of contact for all people related matters and queries. Providing advice and guidance to employees and managers on all employee relations issues including performance, absence and disciplinary related matters.
  • Partner with the Directors to ensure employee issues are resolved effectively and efficiently
  • Provide monthly HR dashboard reporting on trends and key issues
  • Manage the HR platform, Cascade, ensuring that all employee files are up to date with accurate records, using workflows and queries to report on key data
  • Develop the Employee Handbook and monitor the HR policies and processes to ensure they meet the needs of the business as well as ensuring they comply with updates in Employment Law
  • Lead the Performance Management programme
  • Partnering with hiring managers to support the recruitment process from advertising vacancies and interviewing through to selection and on boarding
  • Maintain external relationships with key industry partners
 To be considered for the role of Human Resources Advisor;
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification essential
  • Minimum of 2 years HR experience in Employee Relations and Employee Lifecycle
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge of UK employment Law and regulations
  • Previous experience using an HRIS to manage employee information
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to manage relationships both internally and externally
  • Effective data analysis skills using Excel and other software
  • Computer literate and experience with Microsoft packages
