Are you passionate about HR and ready to make an impact? My client is seeking an HR Advisor to join a dynamic team. As an HR Advisor, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our site's operational ER and HR needs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.


Your new role

The HR Advisor will be responsible for delivering operational HR support, guidance, and advice. You'll handle employee relations, people development, resourcing, and reward activities, all while maintaining compliance with legal requirements.


In this role you will

  • Implement site people plan to enhance performance
  • Manage employee relations cases (investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, etc.) in line with company policies
  • Provide day-to-day support to managers on employee relations, development, and reward
  • Drive HR projects within budget and policy guidelines
  • Coordinate operational change management projects (shift changes, restructures, etc.)
  • Ensure robust contract management processes
  • Foster effective communication across the site through coffee shop sessions
  • Represent HR in daily Tier 2 operational meetings
  • Uphold ethical standards and maintain accreditation (Sedex, Plan A, Agency Audits)
  • Support recruitment efforts to fill vacancies


What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will

  • Generalist HR experience covering all aspects of HR management
  • Ideally, CIPD qualified (Level 5) or working towards it
  • Success in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Proficient in managing complex employee relations issues
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Strong communication abilities, especially in conveying technical HR information
  • Knowledge of UK employment legislation
