Cooper Lomaz have partnered with a business based near Halesworth to source an Application Support Technician. This role is available on a full-time, permanent basis where you would be providing onsite support to the manufacturing and office teams.

Role Overview: This role will see you combine skills in applications and general IT support, working with their ERP to ensure continuous availability of their IT systems, and assisting with the development of the ERP capabilities. The successful candidate will join an established IT team, providing 1st-2nd line support.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues.
  • Provide 1st Line support relating to the company's software, hardware, and ERP system.
  • Assist the wider IT team in the support of the company's infrastructure, networks, and servers.
  • Monitor IT systems and report any potential issues or faults that may arise.

Required Skills:

  • Clear and effective communication and customer service.
  • Experience working with ERPs in an IT role.
  • Desire and passion to build a career within IT.
  • Experience working in a service desk or 1st line support role.
  • Experience writing SQL scripts to extract data from SQL Server.

Salary & Location:

  • This role is 100% onsite, and due to the location, being able to drive and having access to your own vehicle is essential.
  • £24,000 - £30,000 DOE.
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
