We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH KS3 English Teacher to join our team. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and have a strong commitment to inclusive education, this role is for you. We are looking for someone with a talent for engaging students and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan and deliver tailored English lessons to KS3 students with SEMH needs.
  • Create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing individualized feedback to foster development.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support students' social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for students.
  • Participate actively in school events and extracurricular activities to enhance the educational experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in English or Education (required).
  • Teaching certification (preferred).
  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs (preferred).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards student development.
