An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tax Assistant Manager to join a growing team. This role involves managing tax consultancy assignments, working closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities, and acting as a key point of contact for clients. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute tax consultancy assignments.
  • Work with partners and managers to identify opportunities and provide strategic tax advice.
  • Act as a first point of contact for clients, handling queries and offering tailored solutions.
  • Analyse complex tax matters and provide recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Supervise and delegate work to junior team members.

What We're Looking For

  • CTA qualified or at least seven years' experience in a tax-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of OMB tax issues, including income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
  • A logical and analytical thinker with the ability to assess multiple solutions.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to tailor advice to different audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.
