A growing firm of Chartered Accountants in Halifax is seeking an Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in an Accountancy Practice.
The role involves preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, corporate and personal tax returns, and VAT returns.
Candidates should hold an AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualification or be qualified by experience and have strong client liaison skills.
The position offers a salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, along with 32 days of annual leave and hybrid working options.
Part-time applicants are welcome, and on-site parking is available for employees.

Fantastic opportunity for an Accountant to join a growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Halifax.This mid-size, prominent firm offer a variety of services to their wide range of clients. From Audit, Accountancy, Taxation and Business Advice, this firm pride themselves in offering their clients a well-rounded service. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts for a range of clients.
Preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns.
Complete and review VAT returns.
Work with junior members of the team to assist in their training and development.
Form long-term relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure the long-term success of the firm.

To be a successful applicant for this Accountant position, you should:

Have at least 5+ years’ experience as an Accountant in an Accountancy Practice.
Be either AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
Feel confident liaising with clients and colleagues to assist in the growth of the firm.
