They strive for a good work/life balance and they workwith them to create their dreams.Being regulated by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and an Approved Employer and Training Practice, clients can trust the quality of their work and expertise.As Accounts Semi Senior your key responsibilities will include:Preparing basic sets of accounts (eg knowledge of accruals/prepayments and reconciliations)Good understanding of debits/credits and journals (i.e. not rely on computer-based accountancy packages)Communicate with clients to request information in order to complete Year End Accounts, VAT Returns, Personal Tax Returns etc. in a timely mannerVisit clients premises to undergo Bookkeeping activities (bank reconciliations, supplier statement reconciliations, producing payment runs etc.)Inform clients of tax liabilities due with regards to CIS Returns, VAT Returns, Corporation Tax Returns & Personal Tax ReturnsComplete & submit monthly CIS ReturnsWork as a team with colleagues to ensure that all deadlines are metMonthly Management Accounts for a range of clients (including charities)Person SpecificationAs Accounts Semi Senior you will be expected to meet the following criteriaAAT – part qualified or qualifiedMinimum of 3 years practice experience in a similar roleCar driver with a full clean UK license plus vehicleAbility to commute daily to either Halifax or Bradford Ability to prepare a basic set of accounts with knowledge of accruals/ prepayments and reconciliationsGood understanding of debits and credits and journals without the need to reply on computer-based accountancy packagesKnowledge of CCH an advantage but not essentialThis vacancy is being handled by Laura Banks – Kenton Black FinanceIf you have the above skills and attributes with previous practice experience in a similar position, and would like to find out more then please APPLY TODAYKenton Black Finance operate across the UK as a market leading recruitment partner, specialising in the attraction of finance talent across both permanent and interim requirements.
