Primarily the role will be contributing to the management accounts such as balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, alongside analytic work such as forecasting and variance analysis. This opportunity can support with ACCA or CIMA Study support, career progression and is salaried up to £34,000.

Description

As Assistant Management Accountant reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be successfully responsible for supporting and preparing the management accounts with key duties such as balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments and accruals for example.

Other essential contributions include looking after the ledger and aiding the cash flow forecasting & variance analysis, which smoothly transitions into business partnering with other decisive stakeholders such as Head of Operations and Head of Sales.

Profile

  • Ideally AAT Qualified or ACCA / CIMA Part Qualified or have exemptions
  • Open to anyone qualified by experience
  • Experience of preparing management accounts such as balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals etc
  • Happy to support with transactional duties when needed such as ownership of the ledger or journal postings,
  • Knowledge of any forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis or cash flow is advantageous but not essential
  • Comfortable with excel such as vlookups & pivot tables etc
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder management
  • Happy to work 5 days on site
