Business Services Senior - HalifaxSalary: £34,000 - £42,000 (Dependent on Experience)

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a diverse portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, and mentoring junior team members, all while contributing to the continued success of a highly respected firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing year-end accounts and tax returns
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and providing support where needed
  • Assisting with management accounts and financial reporting
  • Advising clients on accounting and tax matters
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Liaising with clients, HMRC, and other external parties
Skills & Experience:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • At least three years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive and organised approach to workload
