We are seeking an aspiring and hands-on Financial Controller to join the senior management team of a niche manufacturing business based in the Halifax area. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who is eager to contribute to the future success of the company, gaining exposure both at a detailed level in running the accounts and at a high level in supporting their ambitious growth plans. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day finance operations including cash flow management, preparing monthly management accounts.
- Work on the company's budget, forecasts, and financial models.
- Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends and variances to inform business decisions.
- Drive continuous improvements.
- Work with the MD in looking at business opportunities, available grants and new funding steams.
