A prominent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Halifax is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team.
The role involves preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, corporate and personal tax returns, and VAT returns, while also mentoring junior staff.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of practice experience and be AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
The position offers a salary range of £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, with benefits including 32 days of annual leave and hybrid working options.

We are working with a growing, well-established, prominent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Halifax, assisting with their search for a Senior Accountant to join their existing team.About the firm: With just over 30 staff, this firm offer a variety of services to their wide range of clients. From Audit, Accountancy, Taxation and Business Advice, this firm pride themselves on offering their clients a well-rounded service.About the role:

Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts for a range of clients.
Preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns.
Complete and review VAT returns.
Work with junior members of the team to assist in their training and development.
Form long-term relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure the long-term success of the firm.

About the candidate:

Have at least 5+ years’ Practice experience in a relevant role.
Can be either AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
Feel confident liaising with clients and colleagues to assist in the growth of the firm.

Additional information:

32 days annual leave including bank holidays.
Closed for 1 week over Christmas.
Hybrid working will be considered.
