Hatched Recruitment is working closely with the local authorities and we are looking for a Business Support Officer in the Halifax area.

Job Purpose:

Business Support provides specialist administration support to services across the Council.

The post holder will be required to assist in providing effective business and administrative support to key front line services within the Children & Young People's Services Directorate. This includes providing a range of administrative support, including coordinating/recording referrals whilst liaising with Police, Schools, and other professional agencies, and ensuring follow up actions are progressed. You will also be expected to maintain up to date accurate information on computerised records and systems to produce reports and documents in line with corporate standards.

The successful applicants will have excellent keyboard skills, proven minute taking skills and be able to prioritise their own workload, whilst working as part of a very busy team. Excellent communication and customer care skills are also essential. It is also important to note that you will be dealing with challenging information/incoming calls and Business Support Officers are expected to be emotionally resilient to be able to support the team efficiently
