Working independently representing my client at Customer premises, this role supports the field service team. The role covers installation, service, repair, and calibration of their precision measuring equipment. This is a field-based role focusing mainly on their customer base in the North of the UK, although travel further afield maybe required as well as occasional overnight stays.
Responsibilities
- Visit customer sites
- Install precision measuring equipment.
- Complete service and calibration work.
- Undertake trouble shooting including fault-finding, diagnosis and rectification.
Key requirements
- Minimum of HNC/BTEC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience.
- Effective communicator, organisation skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills.
- Full valid driving license.
- Experience of fault finding on mechanical/electrical systems.
- Strong time management skills.
- Have good interpersonal skills.
