- Daily Bank reconciliations.
- Payments by CHAPS/BACS/ Foreign Payments.
- Ensuring correct allocation of Client funds.
- Banking.
- Billing.
- Dealing with clients both in person and by telephone.
- Dealing with internal enquiries.
- Contributing to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
- Contributing to maintaining and improving office procedures.
- Any other duties, which from time to time are required by the firm.
- Skills: Literate and numerate- maintaining a high level of accuracy, ability to work as part of a team and maintain professional relationships.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of the Solicitors accounts rules, knowledge of Legal Accounts software.
- Experience: Experience as a cashier in a solicitor’s office.
- Knowledge: A recognised solicitor’s accounts qualification.
- Experience: A good level of computer literacy, especially with MS Word and Excel.
