A Halifax-based CIC are looking to expand their Business Development team with a new Business Development Coordinator. This is a new role, as the business expands.

Working closely with one of the Business Development managers, you will be assisting in producing bids & tenders to generate new opportunities and re-tender for existing opportunities. This role is suitable for someone with an excellent attention to detail, structured writing capabilities and strong communication skills.

About You:

  • A confident communicator, both written and verbally, who's able to write accurate bids and tenders aimed at winning / retaining business.
  • A keen eye for detail, able to spot and correct mistakes, and proofread effectively.
  • A background demonstrating excellent written skills.
  • An organised professional, who's keen to learn, develop and receive feedback.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting in and producing bids and tenders, aimed at winning new and existing business, including initiatives and schemes ran by local authorities, the government and private company backed.
  • Pulling together all relevant materials, including written proposals and policies, to support with applications.
  • Collaborating with the wider Business Development team to achieve successful campaigns.
  • Learning and developing bid and tender skills, through supporting the business development manager.

Where You'll Be Based:

Your office will be based in outer Halifax and is commutable by car from Huddersfield, Elland and the surrounding areas. Driving is preferred, but not essential, there is some public transport links so worth a conversation if interested.

This role will require 5 days in the office initially, with scope for hybrid working after probation.
