We have an exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplined property and building consultancy and architectural design practice based near Halifax that work in a variety of construction sectors including commercial, retail, education, industrial and residential schemes.

The Role:
Due to a growing pipeline of projects they require a Building Project Technical Coordinatorto join the team.

In this role, you will work alongside theexperienced building surveying and architectural design team, assisting with project and design team coordination. From site acquisition to project completion, you'll play a key role in managing relationships and ensuring the seamless execution of projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating all design and technical information.
  • Assisting the project lead in meeting clients and developing project briefs.
  • Conducting background research on planning history and site constraints.
  • Coordinating third-party consultant appointments and compiling required reports.
  • Managing planning and building regulation applications and approvals.
  • Liaising with statutory authorities and service providers.
  • Reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Attending meetings with clients, consultants, and the internal team.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Construction, Architectural or Surveying related qualification.
  • Good technical knowledge of the planning system and construction processes.
  • Understanding of CDM / Health and Safety legislation and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite, AutoCAD.
  • Willingness to travel within geographical coverage area, generally Yorkshire and Northwest.
