Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller for a temporary position within their Accounting and Finance department, based in Halifax. The successful candidate will excel in maintaining financial records, pursuing late payments, and improving overall company cash flow.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established market leading organisation based in Halifax. Due to an exciting period of growth within the finance team they are looking for a credit controller to join them on an immediate start basis.

Description

  • Ensuring timely payment of debts
  • Processing invoices and reconciling payments
  • Communicating with clients regarding billing and payment
  • Performing account reconciliations
  • Working closely with the sales team to ensure credit issues are resolved
  • Providing administrative support to the team
  • Producing monthly reports and budget forecasts
  • Adhering to all regulatory standards and best practices

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

  • Previous credit control experience
  • Be immediately available or on a reduced notice period
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
