Cogent Staffing are recruiting for an experienced Drawer to join our client, an established and growing engineering/manufacturing company based in Halifax. The ideal candidate will be looking for a long term permanent role to progress within the quickly growing company.
The ideal candidatemusthave experience with CAMduct and COLUMBUS design software.
Shifts & Salary:
- Monday to Friday
- 7am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 8am - 12pm Friday
- 18 per hour.
Key responsibilities:
- Creating and designing drawings using CAMduct and COLUMBUS software from scratch or from customer specification/requirement.
- Assessment and quality assurance of all drawings against guidelines.
- Visiting sites to take measurements in order to accurately design suitable drawings for purpose.
- Assisting with basic fabrication processes as required.
- Operating grinders, machinery, limited tools to assist with the normal fabrication processes of the site.
- Following health and safety regulations at all times.
Key requirements:
- Musthave experience with COLUMBUS and CAMduct software.
- Own full UK driving licence.
- Must be happy to assist with basic fabrication as required.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software, design drawings.
- Ideally has completed education regarding design.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in welding processes.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles.
