MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
We are recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for our client who are in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
THE DUTIES OF A DESIGN ENGINEER:
Undertake design work to specification and agreed Eurocode standards.
Liaising with structural engineers\architects\design managers.
Design administration and project coordination.
Work to company QA procedures.
Maintain a high standard of design service.
Working on manufacturing sub 100t nonstandard projects to BSEN1090Exc2.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, HNC or Apprenticeship with proven experience in the industry.
Tekla Structural Designer knowledge is necessary.
Familiar with working to the Eurocodes for design.
Excellent communication skills.
Minimum 5 years experience in structural steelwork design

THE HOURS:
Monday Thursday 7:30am- 5pm and Friday 7:30am- 2:30pm.
THE PAY:
You will earn an annual salary between £25-£35k depending on experience.
