Information about the Role:

Working as a Care Team Leader at Fernside Hall your duties will include the following:

路 Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Support Workers.

路 Administer medication, conduct assessments.

路 Ensure that care plans are kept up to date.

路 Respect the dignity and preferences of the people we support as well playing your own part in establishing a home where everyone feels safe and confident to live their best life.

路 Be involved and deliver daily activities to the people we support.

路 Manage and help organise the duty rota.

路 Carrying out duties as requested by senior management.

Information about the Service:

Fernside Hall is a beautiful, residential care home for adults with a relaxed, family feel to the home. We are located in Halifax鈥檚 Manor Heath / Savile Park area, a few miles from the town centre.

As a smaller-than-average residential home, our amazing and dedicated staff team can spend lots of time supporting the 22 adults living in our homely surroundings with their day-to-day living and ensuring they live safely. We support people on either a permanent placement or for shorter respite stays as well.

Our staff are experienced to support individuals 24 hours a day, in a personalised and safe way. We have experience of supporting people who live with the early symptoms of Dementia.

Necessary Experience or Qualifications to work as a Team Leader:

路 NVQ 3 or above in Health and Social Care.

路 Ideally 6 month or more experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant / Senior Support Worker / Team Leader or Deputy Manager in Mental Health.

路 Passionate about making a difference in someone else鈥檚 life.

路 Good communication skills.

路 Able handle sometimes challenging situations.

路 Fun, energetic and able to build relationships with many different people.
