The duties of the Electrical Design Engineer are:
- Create general arrangement drawings, wiring schematics and bills of material.
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding customer requirements and submit quotations to customers.
- Design product for manufacture to ensure efficient production.
- Visit suppliers and customers as necessary.
- Review manufacturing issue feedback sheets and put in place corrective actions to prevent repeat occurrences.
Experience required of the Electrical Design Engineer
- Educated to HNC level or similar in Electrical Engineering.
- 2-3 years of electrical design experience in industry.
- Experience using AutoCAD Electrical or similar software.
- Comfortable liaising with customers.
