Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned servicing and reactive maintenance/repairs on machinery.
- Investigating and diagnosing breakdown issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety regulations.
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safe working practices.
- Experience in a workshop, manufacturing, production, or engineering environment.
- Experience working with heavy machinery, plasma machines, and a Zemon machine (100 metres long). Desirable.
- Hydraulics & Pneumatics - Essential
- Basic Welding - Desirable
- Mechanical engineering qualifications or a time-served apprenticeship.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
