About the Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned servicing and reactive maintenance/repairs on machinery.
  • Investigating and diagnosing breakdown issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety regulations.
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and safe working practices.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in a workshop, manufacturing, production, or engineering environment.
  • Experience working with heavy machinery, plasma machines, and a Zemon machine (100 metres long). Desirable.
  • Hydraulics & Pneumatics - Essential
  • Basic Welding - Desirable
  • Mechanical engineering qualifications or a time-served apprenticeship.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
