We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Operative for a client located in Halifax (HX1).

This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent after 12 weeks, depending on performance.

Job Summary:

Manufacturing Operative - To ensure products of the highest standards are manufactured on time and to cost while ensuring that product quality and H&S requirements are adhered to.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Follow and comply with all relevant Sabel policy and quality system procedures and practice.
  • Liaise with Production Manager and follow the manufacturing plan to ensure the requirements of the manufacturing/production plan are met.
  • Produce bulk liquid to specifications required.
  • Ensure all cleaning and batch documentation is filled in and filed
  • All procedures relating to these jobs must be adhered to (including cleaning validation).
  • Working area to be clean and tidy at all times, paying particular attention to work surfaces and equipment i.e. vessel lids, IBC’s, buckets and scoops. Limiting foreign body contamination.
  • Segregation and control of raw materials as per COSHH requirements.

Requirements: Candidates must have prior experience in a manufacturing environment.

Hours: 4-day work week: Monday to Thursday, 6:45 AM - 5:00 PM.
