We are looking for Cover Supervisor with any subject specialisms to join a vibrant Secondary School community in Halifax.
About the Cover Supervisor Role:
- Classroom Management: Oversee and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Engage Students: Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain focused and on task.
- Support Learning: Provide assistance to students as needed and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Maintain Discipline: Uphold school policies and manage student behaviour effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes across various subjects and year groups.
- Ensure continuity of students' learning experiences.
- Collect and pass on any completed work to the appropriate teacher.
- Provide feedback to teachers about student progress and behaviour.
